
There
is a lot of pressure which can lead to bad health or absence from work,
one need to consult the individuals GP psychiatrist or there are other
professional people who are involved in their recovery. There are other
people who are considered in consulting the person who is a victim can
consider the HR personnel, OH or workplace counselors. There are certain
parties should work together to understand the situation so that include
causes of all the troubles & also find the solutions to the troubles of
the victim. One also needs to provide support the individual so that he or
she can come out of the situation which is causing distress in the life of
the victim. The victim needs to develop a plan so that he can tackle the
stressor pressure which is acceptable to all the people more to the
individual & their line manager & also one need to evaluate whether anyone
else is experiencing problems related to the same issue & if the institute
needs any kind of interference is required. How can mangers or employee
representatives do to help the people suffering from stress in the office?
The first course of action will be to check organizational arrangements in
place & that a risk assessment needs to be conducted. If one has been
recently this should be a priority in life. One needs to arrange to speak
to a member of the staff the employee so that a long term conclusion can
come up to help him. It might also be helpful to contact the GP in written
so that they can give the consent for others to start on with the help
program.
If one
needs to improve his skills in managing & supporting people with stress
related troubles one needs to focus on introductory courses in
communication skills & develop an understanding of mental problems
symptoms & the link between the victim & all the health & its symptoms. If
one thinks that he is suffering form stress related troubles then he needs
to work on with different things as. At times the stress can be good for
one but if the load increases it gets on to nerves & bugs the person so he
loses interest in the job which directly infects his efficiency output.
Irrespective of the source of the stress one needs to speak to the manager
or any one whom he is comfortable with in the organization if the stress
is related to the work. It becomes the colleagues responsibility to take
necessary steps to help you our to come off the pressure so that your
level of efficiency is maintained & that he does not lose a good employee
of the company. It is also important to take personal level review in our
lifestyle to see if one can identify the contributing factors a checklist
can include eating on the run in a very disorganized way to have food, in
methods where one has not time or to drink & smoke excessively, may be to
run all places to reach out to all people., to miss breaks & carry work
home along with oneself. If we check these are the causes which exists
with all of us & major factors to contribute to our stress zones of which
he need to take care if we want to relax.
