Understanding Depression

 

These days depression is considered to be very common so as one in eight people in their teen age suffer from it despite of any color, race, caste or religion. It is noticeable that women in their insolence and adulthood are more affected with depression as compared to men.
Many a times people misunderstand a persons depression with his being lazy and inactive. So they might even scold him for his acts not keeping into notice that it mite be because of depression that one acts in such a way. But when the family members and friends can recognize their depressed member, then they might respond to him or her with love, kindness or support, hoping that the sadness will soon pass away. They may also prefer to listen to the persons talk though the depressed one hardly feels like talking to or sharing things with others. If this sadness does not gone away within few days then the members will encourage him to seek help from a good mental health professional. People some times dont realize that depression can cause so many problems or pains to them. Many times they even feel embarrassed to seek help from the doctors.
There is no such single factor which can be held responsible solely for a persons depression. Genes, medical history, situations in life, and other such factors are many times responsible for depression.

DIET TO BE TAKEN CARE OF

There are few particular food elements that should be consumed by a person suffering from depression. They are as follows:  Fish oil, Brown Rice, Brewer's Yeast, Whole grain oats, Cabbage, Brazil nuts, raw cacao, etc.

More intakes of antibiotics, drugs, particular pills might contribute to depression.

PHYSICAL CARE

One should opt for regular exercises which might also help in intake of sunlight. This will keep the body healthy. Moreover laughter is a great medicine. One should also take care that he is having a jolly environment around him.

Thus in order to beat depression one must fight himself and the results will always be positive then...!!
